Early planning is underway for this year’s Cape Breton tour. August 4 and 5 is the Crab Fest weekend in Louisbourg, so we have decided to take advantage of it and the activities at the Fortress. We’re taking the unusual step to seek registrations for this tour before all the details have been worked out because of the expected shortage of accommodation in Louisbourg. The tour will start on Thursday August 3 with an overnight stop in Port Hawkesbury. Two nights in Louisbourg on August 4 and 5. Then 2 nights touring around the Cabot Trail with overnight stops e.g. in Cheticamp on August 6 and in the lower part of Inverness County on August 7 before heading home on August 8.
