The 2024 British Motoring Festival will be held at Kings Edgehill School on College Road in Windsor, Nova Scotia on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
- There is free parking for the public on site.
- The show field will be open to the public from 10:30AM to 3:30PM at a cost of $5.00 per person.
- Children 12 years and under are free.
- Proceeds from the public will be shared with the West Hants Ground Search and Rescue Team who will be supervising public parking.
- Organizers are planning workshops and events during the day including a display of the featured marque: Triumph.
- There will also be Valve Cover Racing for 16 entrants.
- Should you not be one of the first 16 to register it is recommended you still bring your racer to the show, to join the grid if there are "no shows" or "dropouts".
- VCR weigh-ins 12:30PM-1:00PM, races from 1:00PM-2:30PM.
This year the show field will celebrate the Triumph marque. From its origins as an importer of bicycles (1887), a manufacturer of bicycles (1889), and a manufacturer of motorbikes (1902), Triumph produced its first car in 1923. Triumph cars were produced under a number of different owners until 1984. Triumph motorcycles continue to be manufactured today.
For participants showing British vehicles, the field will be open for parking from 8:00AM to 10:30AM. Show cars must be prepared to remain on site until show closing at 3:30PM.
- For those that have to leave before the show ends at 3:30PM, any emergency movement of cars must be supervised by one of our field marshals.
- Alternatively, cars that plan to leave prior to 3:30PM may be placed in a different area to facilitate safe exit.
REGISTRATION
Registration opens Friday May 31st at 11:00AM.
To allow our registration volunteers more time to enjoy the event we are encouraging participants to register online prior to the event..
There is a Paper Form registration option available HERE which must be used by non-members as they do not have access to the online registration system.
Onsite registration will not be available after 10:30AM.
- British vehicles which arrive after 10:30AM are welcome to park in the public parking area to visit the show.
British Vehicles
Registration Fees are $35 for the first vehicle, additional vehicles may be registered for $10.
- An additional fee of $10 will apply to all vehicles registered after July 5 or vehicles that do not pre-register but arrive the day of the show.
- Should you cancel, there will be no refund of registration fees after July 5.
Dorm Rooms
Are available for participants and their guests at $45 per single room and $80 per double room.
- These are school dormitory rooms with shared bath and no air conditioning.
- Other “commercial” accommodation is available in the area
Meals
A Friday evening Reception, providing snacks for Show Registrants and their guests, will be held outside at Kings Edgehill from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, weather permitting.
- The cost is $10 per person.
- A cash bar will be available.
Food vendors will be on site from 8:00AM to 3:30PM.
A Banquet will be held on Saturday evening, with cocktails at 6:00PM and the Banquet starting at 6:30PM..
- The Banquet is limited to 100 Show Registrants and their guests at a cost of $50 per plate.
- A cash bar will be available.
Refunds
- Reception and Banquet fees are non-refundable after June 27.
- Vehicle and Dorm Room fees are non-refundable after July 5.
