FILL OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION


Complete the New Member Signup process which captures all your personal information by clicking New Member Signup  There are 7 pages in the process (it's not complicated!):

  • Member Type: Select New Member.
  • Privacy Agreement: Choose I Agree. If you choose I Do Not Agree you cannot join.
  • Contact Info: Enter the information, required fields are marked with a red dot.
  • Additional Member Data: Select the payment method you'll be using.
  • UserName/Password: You can choose your own username and password.
  • Joining Agreement: Select I Agree
  • Summary: Review the information entered, go back to make corrections, click Submit Application when done.

FILL OUT A HARD COPY APPLICATION


The paper application form can be found by clicking Membership Application

This is a fillable form that you can fill out and then print.  If you don't like filling in forms online you can print it and complete it by hand.

Assuming you're also paying the $50CDN New Member application fee by cash or cheque (made payable to BATANS) you should mail your payment with the completed paper application form to:

You'll know we received your application because we'll send you a confirmation that we have it:

  • If you entered your information online make sure you remember the Username and Password you specified.
  • If you submitted a paper application we'll assign you a Username and temporary Password in the confirmation email.

What happens next depends on how you indicated you'll pay the Membership Fee:

  • Credit Card Fastest method:
    • After your application is approved you'll receive a second email with instructions on how to log in to the website and make your payment.
  • Interac e-Transfer Next fastest method:
    • You can send your $50CDN e-Transfer now to treasurer@batans.ca
    • After we've approved your application and posted your payment you'll receive a second email with instructions on how to log in to the website.  
  • Cash/Cheque Slowest method:
    • After we've received your application and posted your $50CDN payment you'll receive a second email with instructions on how to log in to the website.
